More from the Ethan literary crap factory!

Timothy Young walked into the tavern, he had heard there was someone looking for a trip off world, and they were willing to pay big to do it fast and quiet. Seeing the only female in the establishment he walked over to her table.
“You Heidi Weller?”
“Who wants to know?”
“I do,” replied Timothy sitting down at her table.
“Ah.. and you are?” Heidi said crossing her arms across her chest.
“A captain of a small fast ship that will get you off this god forsaken rock.”
“Wonderful when can we leave?” Heidi asked thumbing towards a crate and a duffel bag.
“Right now.”
“Very well, lets leave right now,” she picked up the duffel and shouldered it, he picked up the crate and they walked out of the tavern and outside, where Timothy's quad bike was waiting he put the crate on the back an lashed it on. He sat down on the seat and fired the quad bike up. Heidi sat down behind him and they sped off outside of town where Timothy's ship The Wild Card.
It was Mantis class freighter, similar to a Firefly class it. It has more jagged lines and it came with basic weaponry. The weapon mounts come from underneath giving the the appearance of a preying mantis. It was a much newer version of the Firefly. It also had another set of VTOL engines for faster movement in atmosphere.

'nother morsel!

Thrak walked into the bar, smoothing his hair down as he surveyed the room, seeing that most of the patrons in this lovely squalled pit were packing heat he surmised it would not be a good day to be rowdy. So he walked up to the bar and ordered a drink, he took his drink to a table near the door. Thrak sighed as he brushed the filth off the bench, he had only been sitting for only a few seconds before a rodian conman picked him out for a sucker.
“Hello there, may I sit here?” Pointing at the seat across from Thrak.
“No skin off my back.” Thrak drank some of his drink, whatever it was it tasted like gammorran armpit sweat.
“Would you lik...”
“No.” Thrak cut him off gruffly. “Look mate, I just wanna drink then get on my ship and leave. So if you don't mind, leave before I stick a stun dart in your neck.” Thrak said dangerously.
“Hey I don't want any trouble,” said the rodian shrugging and getting up quickly.
After the Rodian left he saw some one come in he got up and walked over to her..
“Hello miss it would appear that you are in need of a transport,” said Thrak as he bent down to pick up one of her bags.
“Yes I am, thank you when do we leave?”
“There is a little matter of credits.”
“I shall address that after we are off this... planet.”
“Alrighty, not fond of this piss pot myself, whats your name?”
“I'll tell you once we are in the air,” she picked up her other bag saying, “I have some cargo too.”
“How much cargo is some?”
“Four crates.”
“Of.. never mind my ship is second to the last bay, D-3, here is a one use key get in settle down and wait I will be there as soon as I can, where is this cargo?”
looking up from her datapad she said “On its way to your cargo bay,” she smiled and walked out.”
“One hell of a girl, Barkeep, something strong, very.”
“Yes sir,” the bartender turned around and started to pour a drink, that appeared to Thrak to contain fourteen different liquors.” Laying the drink down he smiled and said, “Good luck with that mate, please pay me before they take you off.”
“Here ya go,” said Thrak handing the man hundred credits.
**********************************************
“Ok so whats your name?”
“Fossi, what is yours?”
“Thrak, and whats in those crates?”
“Stolen Imperial goods.”
“Lovely ok and please do tell me how did you aquire said goods?”
“I took them as a going away present.”
“Going away? Just tell me later I wanna
get out of here.”
Thrak walked up to the cockpit of his freighter. Sitting down at the controls he heard Fossi walk in behind him.
“I'm a pilot ya know.”
“How could I you never told me, how about you take us out while I go take a look see at those goods of yours.”
“Fair enough.” Fossi strapped in and fired up the ship.
Wing commander Daril Franz was angry and rightly so, he had one of his best pilots missing probably deserted with top secret weapons systems, this was not gonna look good, and he knew it. He had to get this snafu under control before word got up the chain.
“Where is she dammit! I am surrounded by completely worthless dolts!”
“Sir we are trying but she could be almost anywhere.”
“Try harder or be ready to leave.... permanently, or maybe I'll get you put on Galos-4 I heard they where having major problems with there heating cores I'm sure you would be welcomed there.”“Yes sir!” the officer saluted snappily and walked quickly from the room.
Daril slammed his fist down on his desk, looking at his holo screen flicker he had an idea. He typed for a few minutes then leaned back and smiled smugly.
